We are proud to announce that Level Plumbing & Electrical is a finalist in the Gibbston Valley 2024 Spirit of the Wakatipu Awards for Corporate Citizenship, and in the Mountain Scene People's Choice Awards.

Watch the highlights of our projects in a special video showcasing our Members' commitment to the community as they embrace the Wakatipu spirit of giving back.

While these recognitions are exciting, the true highlight for us has been our work as part of the 2024 Local Impact programme. Through this initiative, we have focused on meeting community needs with the help of a dedicated group Level Members from New Zealand and Australia.

One of our proudest achievements this year was partnering with the Wakatipu Playcentre to install cutting-edge outdoor heaters and build a dedicated "Tradie Corner" for Queenstown’s future young builders and tradespeople.

We also provided crucial outdoor and container lighting, along with a sunshade for the volunteers at Baskets of Blessing, ensuring they can work safely and comfortably in all weather conditions.

In addition, we were able to support Central Lakes Family Services with much-needed electrical, lighting, and plumbing upgrades, room renovations, and the construction of a unique Level lego therapy wall for children.

These projects have not only enhanced the facilities and services of these local organisations but have also fostered a deep sense of connection and contribution among our Members. We are thrilled to have received such positive feedback from the community and to now be recognised as a finalist in the 2024 Spirit of the Wakatipu Awards.

Our involvement in community initiatives is central to our ethos. What made this year’s work truly special was the collaborative effort across our entire network. For the first time, Level Members came together to create a large-scale community service day, engaging local charities, businesses, and volunteers throughout the entire process—from initial applications to final project delivery.

A heartfelt thank you to the Wakatipu Community Foundation and the panel of judges for this recognition, and to Brannigans, sponsors of the Corporate Citizenship category.
