Level Group NZ has welcomed Kinetic Electrical Group NZ into the Level alliance, expanding its presence across New Zealand and giving more independently owned electrical businesses access to stronger systems, broader support and growth opportunities.
It brings 16 independently owned electrical businesses across 18 locations into the Level alliance, strengthening the group’s presence across the country.
With locations across key regions of New Zealand, Kinetic brings established regional coverage, local customer relationships and a strong foundation of electrical businesses to the alliance.
The move reflects growing demand from independent trade business owners for support models that help them stay competitive, build stronger systems and continue operating with local ownership and identity.

Kinetic founders Darren and Vicki Bambry will continue supporting the Kinetic network alongside the Level NZ team, while also continuing to own and operate Kinetic Electrical Hawke’s Bay.
Matt Davies, General Manager of Level NZ, says the move reflects confidence in New Zealand and the future of the sector.
“Level wants to invest and expand in New Zealand because we see strong long-term opportunities in supporting Kiwi trade businesses.
“Kinetic is a strong network with great people, strong businesses and aligned values. This is an exciting step for Level in New Zealand and reinforces our commitment to supporting independently owned electrical businesses for the long term.”
“Tradies are looking for backing that helps them grow while still remaining locally owned and connected to their communities. Kinetic has built a trusted network with great people, and we’re excited to welcome them into the Level alliance.”
Darren Bambry, Founder of Kinetic Electrical Group NZ, says joining Level creates new opportunities for Kinetic Members.
“We’ve built Kinetic around strong local businesses, practical systems and trusted relationships.
“Joining Level means our Members will tap into Level’s backing with things like business development, marketing and modernised systems, all while still maintaining those local relationships that are so important to their businesses.
“Vicki and I will still be running our own Hawke’s Bay operation, and we’re excited for the opportunities that being part of Level Group will bring to not just us, but all the people and organisations we have worked for over all these years.
“We’re still the group of locals that have been helping out Kiwis for years. We’ve just got a lot more people in our corner now.”

Luke McCallum, Managing Director of Level Group ANZ, says the expansion reflects growing demand from independently owned operators for networks that help businesses remain competitive while still retaining local ownership and identity.
“We’re investing in New Zealand and backing ambitious business owners who are looking for stronger systems, broader support and the ability to scale.
“We know that it’s hard for a lot of New Zealanders, and many Kiwi businesses are facing rising costs and the increasing pressures of running and growing a trade business, which is why more operators want the right networks to help them succeed long-term, which Level can provide.”
Level Group ANZ now supports a growing alliance of independently owned plumbing and electrical businesses across Australia and New Zealand, with a continued focus on helping Members build more capable, connected and sustainable trade businesses.
